Dorothy de Lautour

In Dorothy de Lautour’s ‘Flights of Fancy’ collection, paper planes are used to represent our individual journey through life. Dorothy’s ‘Flight’ jewellery is adorned with designs inspired by wallpaper patterns popular in the 1970s, in particular the work of Australian designer Florence Broadhurst. The patterns act as signifiers of nostalgia, memory, and home – the recollections which accompany each of us through our own ‘flight’.
